Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer

Required Skills:

* Verilog & VHDL RTL and Testbench design
* Xilinx ISE Design Flow
* MicroBlaze / PicoBlaze soft-core processor configuration
* Digital Signal Processing Design, Techniques, and Theory
* Sample Rate Conversion / FIR & IIR Filter design
* Matlab / Simulink Experience
* Xilinx Sysgen with extensions to signal processing
* PCB schematic design using OrCAD
* State Machine Theory
* Asynchronous and multiple clock domains
* PLL / Frequency synthesis experience

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with PIC microchip firmware development
* C/C++
* JTAG
* Analog Design (DC-DC chips, op amps, transistors, etc.)
* Various hardware protocols: I2C, SPI, RS232, etc.
* Interface with various sensors: acceleration, pressure, temperature, etc.
* GPS, GSM, CDMA
* CAN, LIN, MOST, APIX
* CATC, RF, Protocol analyzers and other laboratory equipment
* WiFi, WiMAX, 3G, 4G
* Embedded programming experience
* Windows 802.11 & USB driver experience
* Experience with Windows USB core and USB protocol
* Familiar with embedded programming on Cypress USB devices
* Experience developing driver stacks for bus-connected PC devices(USB/ PCI/ PCI Express)
* Proficiency with windows kernel-mode development and debugging.

PC TECHNICIAN
Description

Position is responsible for the PC Test process and the attributes that can affect the process. Work closely with test engineers and managers to make certain Telemetria’s test objectives are attained. Perform as a team member to provide PC focused support to both internal and commercial customers and manufactures. If you are independent self-starter, who has the drive, technical aptitude, and interpersonal skills to perform component-level, hardware/software test & debug in a manner that exceeds expectations and solves their problems quickly and effectively. Responsibilities/Skills

* Should have strong general knowledge of PC boards
* Hardware and software troubleshooting. (Troubleshoot test equipment, PC Hardware, PC Software)
* Builds and installs of new PC's. Hardware replacement after diagnostics
* Installing and troubleshooting issues with the OS.
* Installing the HW and Drivers and being able to troubleshoot issues.
* RF test experience desirable (Perform RF test measurements such as gain transfer, frequency response, spurious search, noise figure, modulation Index, Insertion loss, return loss using manual and automated test racks)

Qualifications

* Knowledge of desktop operating systems: Windows Vista & XP, Linux & MAC OS.
* Knowledge of PC and Apple computing hardware and peripheral equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktop computers and peripheral equipment.
* Troubleshooting hardware issues related to Desktop/Laptop
* Configuring and installing new computers using standard software image and packages
* Demonstrated understanding of computer hardware, operating systems functions and components. Must be familiar with multiple makes/models of desktops and laptops and be able to disassemble, troubleshoot and reassemble hardware
* Full knowledge of all PC/Laptop hardware, modems, DVD/CD-burners, scanners, and PDA's.
Install software including Microsoft Windows, various applications, Driver software
* Perform measurements using Digital Oscilloscopes
* Perform measurements using Digital Multimeters
* Measurements using VSA/Analog Waveform desirable
* Schematic Entry and PCB CAD Layout is desirable
* 3-5 years experience with PC technologies


Principal or Senior Electronic System Engineer

Telemetria is also looking for an experienced senior electronics engineer to lead product development.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Design, development and test including high speed and analog design
* Embedded systems
* Micro controllers

* Familiar with precise analog layout theory and layout experience
* FPGA design a plus
* Experience in design, test, reliability and production phases
* Firmware development
* Board level design
* Designing A to D and D to A Converter circuits
* Strong background in wireless communications, experience with radio interfaces, lower level MAC hardware and wireless PHYS is highly desirable
* 3G/4G Networks (GPRS, EDGE, EVDO, HSDPA, WiFi, WiMesh, WiMax)
* Analog (RF) and digital integration
* Experience with wireless Ethernet designs/standards; for example 802.11 & 802.16
* Understanding of power amplifiers design is a plus
* Strong logic design, board level simulation, verification, timing and power analysis and systems board environment build experience a plus
* Hardware,/firmware in the area of wireless communications (Wireless LAN, wireless USB, Bluetooth, Ultra Wide Band) a plus
